• What can I admire from the panoramic terrace?

  From our green panoramic terrace with bar, you can admire the Quirinal, the Altare della Patria, and Palazzo Venezia. On the right, you will see the Pantheon’s dome with its singular oculus, the Fontanone, and the Gianicolo Hill.

• Is it possible to order an extra bed/baby cot and how much will it be?

  You can add a baby cot (30€ per day) in specific room types by requesting it via email. It is not possible to add an extra bed; for more than two guests, a different room category must be booked.

• Are the rates on your website per person or per room?

  Our rates are per room.

• Are fees and taxes included in prices?

  The only extra is the city tax, which is 6€ per person per night. Children under 10 years of age are exempted from the city tax.

• What time is check-in and check-out?

  Check-in is at 14:00 (2 PM) and check-out is at 11:00 AM.

• Are pets welcome?

  Unfortunately not. We do not have the facilities to accommodate pets.

• Is there an internet connection in the rooms?

  Yes, free ADSL/Wi-Fi is available in every room.

• Do the windows in the rooms open?

  Yes, windows can be opened in every room.

• Does Hotel Cecil provide airport transfers?

  Yes, we can arrange private transfers to/from FCO and CIA airports, the port of Civitavecchia, and other destinations. Please contact the reception at least 1 day before departure.

• Is Hotel Cecil a smoke-free hotel?

  Yes, there are smoke detectors in each room. Smoking is only permitted on our 6th-floor panoramic terrace.

• How to reach us from Termini Station?

  You can take a taxi (approx. 10 mins) or the Metro Line A (direction Battistini/Cornelia) and get off at the Barberini stop. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away.

• How to reach us from Leonardo da Vinci Airport (Fiumicino – FCO)?

  Take the ‘Leonardo da Vinci Express’ shuttle to Termini Station (approx. 30 mins). From there, take a taxi or Metro Line A to the Barberini stop. We are a 5-minute walk away.

• How to reach us from Ciampino Airport (CIA)?

  Use the bus shuttle services to Termini Station. From the station, take a taxi or Metro Line A to the Barberini stop. The hotel is a 5-minute walk away.

• Is the hotel accessible to guests with limited mobility?

  Yes, we have accessible rooms. We can also arrange the rental of wheelchairs and crutches or provide special car transfers. Please contact us in advance for these services.

• Can I organize a private event?

  Of course. Upon request, we can set up private aperitifs, cocktail parties, or dinners on our panoramic terrace. Please email your request to info@hotelcecil.it.

• Is reception available 24 hours?

  Certainly, our reception is available 24 hours. From your room, please dial number 9.

• Do you organize guided tours or private visits?

  Yes, we can book a wide variety of tours in all languages, including sightseeing hop-on & hop-off buses. Please email info@hotelcecil.it for information.

• Which metro stop is the closest?

  Hotel Cecil is 3 minutes away from Barberini Metro Station (Line A).

• I have an allergy/intolerance. Can I request a special breakfast?

  Yes, we provide gluten-free and lactose-free products. For any other specific allergies, please contact the reception prior to your arrival.

• What time do you serve breakfast?

  Continental breakfast is served every morning from 7:00 to 9:30 AM.

• Can I leave my luggage at check-out?

  Yes, all guests can leave their luggage at the reception to enjoy their last day in Rome luggage-free.
