Dinosaurs in the Flesh at Appia Joy Park

Dinosaurs in the Flesh is an exhibition for children and families that takes visitors on a fascinating journey through the history of life, blending science with wonder.

Dinosaurs in the Flesh – LIFE will be held at Appia Joy Park, located at Via Annia Regilla 245. This immersive experience spans over 400 million years of Earth’s history, from the Paleozoic Era to the Ice Age.

Along the way, visitors will encounter extraordinary life-size reconstructions of iconic prehistoric animals, including the famous Tyrannosaurus rex, the majestic Parasaurolophus, and the fierce Velociraptors, along with many other species that once inhabited worlds long since vanished.

These hyper-realistic models, created through the collaboration of paleontologists and paleoartists, offer a unique opportunity to observe anatomical details, impressive sizes, and remarkable features up close. Visitors will also discover how scientists and artists work together to reconstruct the history of life from fossils—the invaluable evidence left behind by the ancient past.

The visit takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on each visitor’s level of interest. There is no time limit, and guests are welcome to repeat the route as many times as they wish during their visit, provided they respect the park’s opening and closing hours.
